Steam & Hot Water Hose

Ralco's steam hose and hot water hose ranges are designed to be used in applications where temperatures can reach up to +232 with pressure up to 18 bar.

At Ralco we understand that safety is paramount in any steam hose application and therefore are pleased to offer our hose testing services for any assemblies that are purchased from us.

Our steam hose range meets EN ISO 6134/2A, detailed below:

EN ISO 6134 Type 1 = For hot water and saturated steam, textile reinforcement, with a working pressure of up to 6 bar at a maximum temperature of +164.

EN ISO 6134 Type 2/A = For hot water and saturated steam, wire braid reinforcement, with a working pressure of up to 18 bar at a maximum temperature of +210.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: 1. All hoses used for steam should be clearly marked as steam hose with working pressure and temperature rating.2. It is important that working pressure and temperature is not exceeded.3. Do not allow hose to remain under pressure when not in use.4. We recommend that all steam hoses are drained after use to avoid damage.5. Avoid excess bending or flexing near the hose couplings.6. Carry out periodic inspections of hose including checking for blisters and lumps.
