Description: Ralco Taurus red cover PU-coated BS6391 type II fire hose assemblys. Lenghts up to 200 m/660 ft. Inside with oil and fuel resistant PU film (competition hose). Colour of PU-coating according to customer specification available with minimum order of 1,000m. Applications include, industrial and rural fire brigades, military, static building protection, commercial and civil engineering.

Features: Lightweight and highly flexible, resistance to heat and weathering, hardwearing for long service life, mildew and rotproof, easy to clean, minimum maintenance and easy to repair.

Construction: The jacket is constructed from high tenacity polyester yarn, circular woven in twill weave. The lining is contstructed from high grade synthetic rubber, steam vulcanized and is very smooth for low friction loss. External coating is constructed from smooth abrasive resistant polyurethane, designed to withstand the influence of oil, chemicals and heat with additional protection against mechanical damage at the jacket.
2F : 2-ply warp threads, lightweight, high bursting presure.
3F : 3-ply warp threads, heavy duty, better abrasion resistance.

Standard Length: Standard length up to 60 m/200 ft.

Standard Colour: Standard colour is red.

Temperature Range: From -20°C up to +60°C.

Valid Standards: BS6391 Type 2, DIN 14811; prEN 1924-1/Cat. 2 and other national standards for fire hoses.

End Fittings: Instantaeous Alloy or Brass Fire Hose Fittings, Storz Alloy or Brass Fire Hose Fittings wired-on.
